Returns & Cancellation Policy

At DoorLab, all our doors and windows are custom-made to your exact specifications—including hinge type, threshold options, hardware finishes, and more. As these are bespoke products, we do not offer returns or cancellations once an order is placed.

No Returns on Made-to-Order Products

Because each product is manufactured to order and not held in stock, the standard statutory return period does not apply. Returns or refunds are only available if the item is faulty or not as described.

Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If you believe your product is faulty or was supplied incorrectly, please email our after-sales support team at Support@doorlab.co.uk


We will review your claim and determine whether the issue was caused during manufacturing. If so, we’ll arrange a replacement or suitable solution. In some cases, we may request an independent inspection or carry out a joint assessment to confirm the fault.

Product Images & Colour Accuracy

Images on our website are for illustration purposes only. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, screen settings may affect how colours appear. Minor variations may occur.

Measurement Tolerance

Please note: due to the nature of aluminium manufacturing, all bespoke products may have a tolerance of 2–5mm. Make sure your measurements are precise before placing your order, as returns due to incorrect measurements cannot be accepted.

Right to Cancel

Under consumer law, bespoke or personalized goods are exempt from cancellation simply due to a change of mind. You may only cancel if the goods do not match your order or are faulty.

Warranty Support

If a part covered under warranty becomes defective, we aim to replace only the affected component—for example, replacing an external handle rather than the entire set.
